The Carri-Med Rheometer is used to measure the rheological properties of polymer
solutions under either steady state or dynamic (oscillatory) stress conditions.
Properties such as solution viscosities, stress relaxation, creep, yield stresses,
etc., are studied. A temperature range from 0° to 100°C and frequency
ranges up to 50 radians / sec are available.
Example
The Carri-Med Stress Rheometer has been used to study the cure rate of a sample.
A range of stresses was applied to the sample where the curing of the sample
under different stresses was evaluated. This study helped a customer determine
which sample was best suited to perform in their existing environment.
